We are planning to go on a trip of Highlands around 2nd week of April. I am searching for boutique hotels to get reservations done in advance. There will be one other family besides us. They are newly weds and the husband is the friend hubby dear. My husband has already toured Scotland twice with friends, but we have never been outside Edinburgh ( A Bus trip to Glasgow airport en route Paris not counting), so I am pretty excited about it. Lets hope the weather permits us to enjoy our trip.

My husband is sending tickets for my mother inlaw to visit him in Scotland. She will be flying with Katar Airways. I prefer jet charter or something similar. They serve good Indian food through out the journey. Last time when I visited Edinburgh, I took British Airways flight, the food was horrible. Paranthas were stale, and the curry was also tasteless. I opted for non-vegetarian meal in the return journey. I don’t know how my mother in law will survive the ten hour journey. She is a vegetarian and does not even look at meat.

Its six hours to go for our flight. I am flying home today. I am going to miss Edinburgh. I love this city. The holyrood park, the mountains, the charity shops, the prtebello beach…………I am taking back very fond memories of Edinburgh. We will be back in December ( hopefully), but I don’t know where we will stay then. May be London. My husband has been talking of shifting to London after we have gone back to India. Lets see. I would much prefer that we return here.
