My husband brought a photographer home the other day. We had to get photographs of our baby son for passport and visa applications. My son isn’t old enough to sit and get himself photographed. So we laid him on the bed and the photographer clicked some photos. He said that he will later change the color of the background. We also got a family photograph made. But this I printed on the epson receipt printer. My father had some glossy photo paper and made good use of it. I have already got the photo laminated.

My mother-in-law isn’t a very talkative person, in fact her every action is fraught with elliptical use of words. She talks fine with her husband or sons. Its only the daughter-in laws who are kept at bay. My parents have been to our house only a couple of times, but mother-in law doesn’t even speaks to them, let alone make a conversation.
I remember, as a new bride, I used to try to make small talk with my mother-in law, but she never responded. Sometimes she talked only about her past and how she suffered on the hands of her in-laws and husband. Imagine, a new bride trying to fit in a new family by making conversations to a mother- in law who isn’t ready to listen or to speak. Its very awkward when two people are in one room and they don’t talk for hours.

Anna Nicole Smith, a Playboy model, became famous when she married oil billionaire J. Howard Marshall, who was sixty three years older than herself. After his death, she fought his son for a share of her deceased husband’s estate. She was also the subject of many sex scandals after the birth of her daughter, when several of her former lovers claimed paternity for the child including her lawyer Howard K. Stern, journalist Larry Birkhead, former bodyguard Alexender Denk and Hollywood bad boy Mark Hatten. The paternity test revealed Birhead to be the father of little Dannielynn Hope Marshall Stern.
In September 2006, while visiting his mother and new baby half-sister in hospital, Smith’s son Daniel died suddenly. It was later found that he was suffering from an overdose of various drugs. That same month, Smith and Stern threw a party and got married, although no formal marriage certificate was ever registered. Some were shocked at the hastiness of the celebrations, given that Smith’s son had only recently died.
The final scandal came when Anna Nicole Smith herself was found dead in a hotel room in Florida. A bodyguard found her unconscious and although she was rushed to hospital, she was pronounced dead on arrival on 8 February 2007. Smith had died of a combination of prescribed drugs including sleeping pills.
After her death her estate was valued at over a million, although some of her property was heavily mortgaged. Today, legal disputes over her claim of Marshall’s estate continue, in the name of her daughter.

My husband is worried about his receding hairline. He wants to get hair transplantation. I often joke that why he wants to get his hair back, he is already married and need no more male charm to attract other women. But Hubby dear is adamant on hair restoration in Philadelphia PA , and I think I better keep quiet, or risk a major altercation Jokes apart, I think there is nothing wrong in getting bald. It is a natural process. In fact I find many bald people attractive.
On the other hand, it is also true that many men and women suffer sudden loss of hair and they don’t even know why that happened. It can happen due to various reasons such as high fever, alopecia, stress, hormone imbalance (in women), goitre (disease of thyroid gland), and of course hereditary and aging.
The non-intrusive way to tackle hair loss is to wear wigs. But problem with wearing wigs is that they can fall off easily, embarrassing you in the public. You have to spend a small fortune for custom made wigs, but again there is a problem. Such wigs have to be surgically woven into your scalp and cause infection. More over wigs get discoloured in sun, so you will have two set of hair colors, one of the wig and of your natural hair.
You may go for hair weaving. This is similar to surgically implanted wigs. But you have to get the woven hair tightened every month.
Artificial hair transplant is another way to tackle hair loss. In this technique, synthetic fibres are used instead of natural hair. These strands have a hook at one end and they are surgically inserted in the scalp. It can be a long and painful procedure.
Hair bonding: You don’t need surgery, but the new hair is bonded with a type of surgical glue. You need to get retightening done regularly.
So these are some of the options to tackle hair loss. Every person is different and it doesn’t mean that if one solution worked for one person, it will definitely work for another. Weigh in all the pros and cons of each technique.

My favorite earrings are danglers. I love the way they swing back and forth when I walk. But I haven’t worn any danglers since my daughter was born. She has a habit of pulling the danglers while taking feed. I had to take them off otherwise I risked my ears being torn. Now my next favorite are clip on earrings. I have developed an allergy and can’t wear the earrings in the hole, but clip on earrings are ideal for me. I have a beautiful pair of pearl clip on earrings studded with (fake)diamonds. They are absolutely gorgeous.
