My husband learned to drive car during these holidays. He was anxious to learn driving because he had to join a project in London. He likes to visit places, but with family, it is very difficult to travel long distances in buses or trains. He was always asking me to learn driving. Now we are going to buy a car and need cheapest car insurance. We have one Maruti 800 in India. I don’t know which car he will buy there.

When my husband visited India this time, he was apalled to see the state of traffic here. Everywhere there is total chaos. People don’t follow traffic rules. Your life is in the hands of others, who drive so rashly that it is impossible to avoid accidents. My husband feels that everyone owning a bike should know a motorcycle accident attorney, because there is a greater chance of getting injured when you are driving a bike. He wasn’t feeling confident driving a motorcycle on Indian roads. THough just three years back he used to confidently manouver the ways in the heart of Delhi’s traffic.

It was my mother’s birthday on 9th January. I gifted her a brand new samsung cellular phones. It has querty keyboard ( which is of no use to her), powerful camera and more than 2 gb video storage space. My mother likes music so I have downloaded all her favorite songs. Mom isn’t much into technology, but she has started taking her phone whe she goes for her morning and evening walks. She listens to music while walking. Listening to music keeps her mind off from worrying about her children and grand children and their families.

Finally my sister and her two sons have left. The last couple of weeks were total chaos in my house. My daughter and nephews turned the house upside down and  created such a havoc with my temper that I was really happy when I said goodbye to them this morning.

There was not a moment of silence when the three devils were at home. Always shouting, fighting, playing with each other with the energy that only kids can have. My nephews are very naughty. They have to touch and feel every thing when we go for shopping. In a mall my younger nephew was trying his hands on POS systems when the sales person wasn’t on the till. I had to drag him out of there.

I am busy these days, collecting toys for my nephews who will be visiting me in June. I have already purchased a wooden clock puzzle for the younger one who is five years old. I am thinking of buying a human anatomy model 4-D puzzle for my eight year old nephew. I checked the prices and it is definitely a bargain on e-bay. I have bought an inflatable swimming pool for the younger boy with lots of pool toys. He, like my daughter, loves to spend time in bath splashing water all over and enjoying.
I love tin toys and clockwork toys, and wanted to buy some for the kids, but later thought better not to buy them because the kids have outgrown the age to play with winding toys. My sister has clearly ordered me not to buy even a single pin as a gift. She knows how costly and princely the items are here. But I have already started my purchases.
