Writers’ Paradise

Last year my brother’s friends gave him a unique birthday present. They gifted him a mug which had pictures of him and various family memebers printed on it. Ofcourse they kept it as a surprise and got all the phoos from my mother. My husband liked the idea so much that he has also ordered custom mugs to be made especially for his sister and her family.

My in-laws are a worried lot. My youngest Brother-in law spends most of his time with his best friend. They don’t like it. They think that he should spend some time helping the family and doing chores which otherwise my father in law has to do. They have a point. Last week he had to get the bike repaired and serviced. He searched all over the town for Harley parts, but couldn’t find any. Ultimately he asked my brother in law to go to Delhi to bring the spare parts. He went only when his friend agreed to accompany him, which annoyed my pa-in law a lot.

Yesterday we had a lot of fun. Went to Calton hill, Princess Street and National Gallery. When my husband came, he proposed that we all go on Arthur Hill. I was so tired that I straight away refused to budge from bed. Our friends and hubby went ahead with their Mountain Expedition. I and Ananya stayed home. I tried to get some rest, but Ananya wanted me to watch cartoons with her.
Today we are going to Pote Bello and Ocean Terminal. I will upload the photos tomorrow.

Our friends are coming. Two weeks ago, we went to their place in Birmingham. I had a wonderful time there. Ananya was so attached with their six month old son,that she didn’t want to return to Edinburgh. Jitender Bhaiya and his family will be staying with us for four days. I am in a fix, as how to make their stay as memorable as they made ours. We will be going on a day-long highland tour tomorrow. On Sunday we have planned to go to theater. But right now, I am in a hurry to get the house in order and prepare for dinner.
