Ideally I should be writing this post on one of my blogger blogs, as it is related to blogger. But the topic matches this blog’s personality so I am sharing it here. Anyways, I have a habit of whiling away my time by clicking the Next button on the blogger navigation bar. Sometimes I find weird blogs and sometimes something catches my interest. Today a climate specialist caught my attention. His name is Jon M Queen and the guy talks with passion about climate and green alternatives. Jon M Queen had been on the House Banking and Financial Services Committee in Clinton administration and he has other high qualifications too.
His post on CDM ( Clean Development Mechanism) validation issues is very thoughtful and invites serious thinking. He is all for the better treatment of the employees of CDM validators as the issue of cleaner environment picks up support even in developing countries. This has created more opportunities for validators but they aren’t ready to share their profits with the employees, on whose expertise they are reaping millions of dollars.

bullyingHere are just a few examples of the possible long-term consequences of ignoring bullying behavior. Victims are more likely to: -under-achieve because their self-esteem has been knocked and energy is being wasted on negative emotions such as resentment, guilt and fear. - suffer physical symptoms of stress such as headaches, sickness, muscle tension - turn their anger inwards and become depressed and cynical - avoid or cope badly in situations where they meet figures of authority - over-conform - become well-practised at hiding their true feelings and therefore less able to have satisfying intimate relationships - hide their talent for fear of creating envy in others - become reclusive and eventually lonely - develop a belief that there is little point in fighting any kind of injustice - become bullies themselves Bullies are likely to: - continue bullying throughout their life - eventually become lonely and socially ostracized - suffer low self-esteem and inner angst in spite of any external signs to the contrary - become depressed and cynical about the world and act in accordance with these beliefs - turn to criminality - become more angry and/or disillusioned and consequently a serious danger to themselves and to others

Garry and Kate McCann, parents of Maddie, are seeing red over the leaks of the transcript of their interview with the Portuguese police. The interview reveals that a day before she went missing, Madeleine had scolded her parents for leaving her and her siblings alone in the room and not attending to them when they were crying. Mccanns’ spokesperson, Clarence Mitchell has expressed anger on their behalf over this disclosure.

I don’t know what is the problem with Portuguese cops. Their job is to find the missing girl, and all they can do is to create suspicion around parents, who are most unlikely to be guilty. Frankly, I am not much of a fan of Kate or Gary. Kate strikes to me as a cold woman. But even a cold person can’t be such a bad mother as to murder her own daughter and then devote her every waking minute in her search.
Why doesn’t the Portuguese police concentrate on finding those plumbers who came to work on the curtains some days before the disappearance of Madeleine McCann? Is their system so weak that they can’t work on the clues and information provided to them? All they know is to hamper the ongoing search for Mandie.
