My husband’s new friend works in Indian High Commission. He has brought his family with him too. His two sons are 10 and 11 years and his wife is a home maker. Now for a government employee, it is very difficult to make ends meet in one salary. So the friend had started looking for a job for his wife right from the day he landed here. She got a job on till in Scotmid, but they have been looking for more lucrative sales manager jobs. My husband wrote her resume last night for a managerial position in Sainsbury, but I doubt she will get it. She doesn’t understand English well and a manager’s job requires lots of communication with the staff as well as general public.
