We have been living in Edinburgh for over five months now. But we never visited Edinburgh zoo till last week end. We had been planning to go there for quite sometime, but the weather didn’t permit. Last Saturday was so sunny and bright that we thought what better way to spend this day than to enjoy a picnic in zoo. I prepared a quick lunch, packed it and we were ready to go. The Edinburgh zoo is a very enjoyable place for kids and adults alike. There are a lot of play areas in different corners of the zoo. My daughter Ananya loves swings and for some time she was more interested in playing on the swaings than watching the animals. But when we reached the deer cage, her interest grew. She is a fan of Bambi and loves deers. Every time we moved to a different cage, she will ask” Is there any deer in it?” Ananya thoroughly enjoyed in the zoo. Here are some pictures to share with you. Penguin Parade is the main attraction at Edinburgh Zoo. People were gathered on both sides of the small passage way. It reminded me of the parade of disney characters at disneyland which we attended during our Paris stay.
