When decorating our home, we look in to so many things, that need to be according to our tastes and interests. Curtains and blinds are an integral part of home decoration. Each room needs a different set of blinds depending on the purpose. For example, it is a good idea to paint the kids rooms with a set of cartoon characters they like, and also include blinds in this decoration plan. You can paint some of the characters on the blind, to give them a blended background. Avoid cord blinds in kids rooms because children are fond of hanging on cords and if the blinds are of aluminum, it will break in no time. Better still, opt for clutch operated roller shades in children’s room.
Roman blinds and bamboo blinds are the most stylish ( and costly) blinds of all. You may like to put them on your living room windows. If you care for a lower budget blind then you can choose mini blinds, which come at a cheap price. but they don’t have a visual appeal, so perhaps you may like to put them in your bathroom or toilet, or other areas where they don’t spoil the look of the space.
Sheer weaves shades allow to enjoy the outside scenery while protecting your privacy.
If you want to save on the power and block harsh sunlight or extreme cold as well then you should go for vinyl or PVC fabric blinds. These blinds are also suitable for a busy home. Fabric blinds need more maintenance, and care.
