Anyone who has acne, knows what a distressing condition it is. As well as being a problem that runs in families, it is thought to be triggered by a change in hormones during adolescence, which results in more sebum being produced by your skin.
Acne can also be aggravated by stress, poor life styles and poor skincare. Avoid pricking the pimples, as this can lead to scarring. I have listed some acne homemade remedies. These acne treatments worked for me at one point or another, I hope these natural acne treatment tips are useful for you too. But first let me give you some beauty advice……. don’t be impatient. The beauty tips I am going to share, are also related to acne. First of all, you have to stop or minimize the use of make up, so that the pores are not clogged. Foundation sponges, blusher brushes and makeup brushes are a haven for bacteria and so need regular cleaning to avoid re-infection.
-Change your face hand towels daily and keep your hands clean.
- Choose a swept back hair style and avoid having a fringe.
- Don’t use hair styling products as they can block follicle and irritate the skin.
Now the 5 Homemade Recipes for Acne Cure:
1. Dab a little natural toothpaste on the pimples just before you go to bed. Leave it overnight and wash off in the morning.
2. Add a few drops of milk to some ground nutmeg to form a paste, apply to the spots and leave on for 1-2 hours before rinsing away.
3. Dab each acne spot with a cotton bud dipped in a blend of equal parts of lavender, chamomile, tea tree and myrrh. This reduces redness, swelling and pimples.
4. You can also make a paste of honey and cinnamon powder, apply before you go to bed and wash off with warm water in the morning.
5. Rub fresh garlic on and around the pimples and leave on for as long as possible.

The asprin mask works well too. Basically you grind up 6-7 non-coated asprin and add in a few drops of water to make a paste, apply to face, and then wash off after 15 minutes. Makes you skin incredibly smooth as well.

I have tried toothpaste in the past and that seemed to help a little bit. I don’t know about rubbing garlic on my face though lol! Thanks for sharing these tips.
