Garry and Kate McCann, parents of Maddie, are seeing red over the leaks of the transcript of their interview with the Portuguese police. The interview reveals that a day before she went missing, Madeleine had scolded her parents for leaving her and her siblings alone in the room and not attending to them when they were crying. Mccanns’ spokesperson, Clarence Mitchell has expressed anger on their behalf over this disclosure.
I don’t know what is the problem with Portuguese cops. Their job is to find the missing girl, and all they can do is to create suspicion around parents, who are most unlikely to be guilty. Frankly, I am not much of a fan of Kate or Gary. Kate strikes to me as a cold woman. But even a cold person can’t be such a bad mother as to murder her own daughter and then devote her every waking minute in her search.
Why doesn’t the Portuguese police concentrate on finding those plumbers who came to work on the curtains some days before the disappearance of Madeleine McCann? Is their system so weak that they can’t work on the clues and information provided to them? All they know is to hamper the ongoing search for Mandie.
