As I said in my earlier post, today we are having a party at home. So it’s a very busy day for me. I have to prepare lots of dishes, go to market to buy things, clean the house and make it presentable :) Now I am generally relaxed about such things, but I have poorly of late so having a party has added more stress. I was just browsing the net and reading apidextra reviews as a way of relaxing, but then I smelt something burning and ran into the kitchen to find my main dish reduced to something black and sooty. I have called my husband to arrange for take away if I am not able to prepare meals before 5pm.

Yesterday was so sunny and shiny that it felt like spring. Spring is in the air. Though when I woke up in the morning, there was fog all around outside. Still no sign of sun today ( it’s 11 am). Yesterday was so hot that I felt like lying on the grass and sleep. But of course that couldn’t be, as my son was playing on the slide and I have to be with him at every step. He is very naughty and keeps falling in trouble all the time, so there should be somebody to watch over him all the time.

My son is growing very fast. Earlier I was worried about his height and weight as he had Rickets. But the paeditrician here has declared that Aditya is free from Rickets now. And it shows in his growing height. He is outgrowing his clothes very fast. I have to buy new t shirts and trousers every other month. Generally the girl clothes are so cute and pretty and boys’ are boring with only browns and blues. But sometimes I spot some funny tshirts, and buy them quickly. They go will with my son’s jolly and mischievous nature. He is really funny and makes me laugh with his antics.

Some Indian politician is coming to our house on dinner. Indian politicians are the most corrupt in the world, yet they wield a lot of power in India. So it pays to be in good favour of them. It’s a hectic day for me. Making and preparing dinner is not a big job, but my back ache makes it very difficult for me to stand for more than thirty minutes. I have to take breaks in between cooking.  My back ache is so bad that I have to take pain killers in advance when we have such parties at home.

We always talk about HIV patients and the stigma attached to this disease and how we can help creating awareness in the society. It is right that HIV patients shouldn’t be made pariah and ostracized. But what about the safety of doctors and nurses who attend to HIV patients? They need to be careful because even a small cut can cause infection. I think the doctors and all medical personnel should have access to dna pcr hiv test, so that they are assured of their health status from time to time.
